IP transit is sold as an unmetered, 95th percentile or metered solution. We can provide extremely competetive prices in our coverage areas of Sydney and Northern Rivers NSW.
Please contact us for a quotation on a full solution. Pricing is based largely on volume.
We have a number of flexible access solutions available in the Lismore area to suit your requirements and budget:
- A Permanent Virtual Circuit (PVC) that connects two endpoints
- A Permanent Virtual Path (PVP) between two endpoints, associated with a number of PVCs
- PVC between the customer and Linear G for the purposes of IP transit
The following bit rate classes are available on our ATM services:
- VBR-NRT (Variable Bit Rate - Non Real Time) service class (ie. Statistical Bit Rate SBR.1, as per ITU I.371) - optimised for data applications.
- VBR-RT (Variable Bit Rate - Real Time) service class - intended for variable bit rate video carriage.
- CBR (Constant Bit Rate) service class (ie. Deterministic Bit Rate, as per ITU I.371) - intended for voice, circuit emulation and constant bit rate video carriage.
Interfacing with CPE will be done with G.703/DS3 electrical or OC-3/OC-12 optical interfaces.
Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) technology is delivered to your premesis using either optical or electrical interfaces. We utilise Telstra's well designed and geographically diverse fibre rings, which increases the reliability of the service.
For the purposes of obtaining IP transit from Linear G, ATM over SDH or Packet over SONET may be used to connect in to our IP backbone.
SDH is available at access speeds from 155 Mbit/s (STM-1) to 10 Gbit/s (STM-64).
E1 services are delivered over an electrical G.703 interface with bandwidth of 1984Kbit/s.
These services operate under a distance based tariff and are often one of the most cost effective last mile solutions.
Frame Relay is a building block for corporate WAN construction. With Frame Relay, you can provide the data connection between a central office and remote locations for a variety of purposes including corporate LANs and other data applications.
With bandwidth options from 64 Kbps to 45 Mbps, our Frame Relay is suitable for end users with multiple sites and can be marketed as part of a managed service offering.
Frame Relay may be delivered on an E1 2Mbit interface, or a DS3/E3 45 Mbit interface depending on the required access speed.
